Rehabilitation of lifting facilites at EDF Sarrans hydroelectric dam
AXS INGENIERIE has been awarded a contract for the inspection and expertise of the downstream overhead crane of the EDF SARRANS dam hydroelectric as part of the preventive maintenance of the plant.
The SARRANS hydraulic dam was commissioned in 1934. It is located in the department of Aveyron France.
The dam is equipped with 4 production units with a unit power of 57MW.
The study will focus on the electrical and mechanical redesign and the verification vis-à-vis the European Directive on machinery, in collaboration with DEKRA inspection department.
Our service will include different stages: Analysis of technical documentation Assessment of the state of corrosion Visual inspection of supports and fastening Visual inspection of kinematic chains.
Following this expertise, AXS INGENIERIE will provide its customer EDF SARRANS with detailed reports of the controls, measurements and analyses carried out during the service as well as the rehabilitation study report of the downstream bridge.
