Port Autonome de Strasbourg entrusts AXS INGENERIE to assess the integrity of 4 gantry cranes
AXS INGENIERIE extends its collaboration with Port Autonome de Strasbourg, thanks to a new contract about the assessment of integrity of 4 gantry cranes.
The Port is operating container gantry cranes and heavy lift gantry cranes. Following decades of operations, the Port wishes to assess the ageing status.
Therefore, AXS INGENIERIE will study the gantry cranes, in order to calculate the remaining duty lifetime of each cranes and establish NDT controls lists to prevent fatigue risks in the future.
This assessment of integrity satisfies the requirments of CETMEF recommendations & ISO 12482 standard.
Maintenance plan of cranes
In addition, the Port Autonome de Strasbourg, 2nd largest river port in France, entrusts us to establish a maintenance plan for each crane, based on operating and maintenance histories, as well as the results of the assessment of integrity.
This maintenance plan lets the Port ensure the integrity of cranes and improve reliable operations.
