CEA Cadarache expertise the overhead crane of STAR INB as part of the safety reassessment
AXS INGENIERIE was engaged to realize a detailed technical expertise on the overhead crane, located to INB STAR, CEA Cadarache, as part of the safety reassessment.
Certified CEFRI-E since 2017, AXS INGENIERIE conducts its second expertise for CEA Cadarache.
Technical expertise & feasibility study
The technical expertise consists to expertise:
- The overhead crane structures
- The mechanical system
- The actuators of equipment
During this expertise, AXS INGENIERIE and its partners have realized oil analyses, regulatory compliance examination and NDT control on critical areas.
At the end of this step, AXS INGENIERIE will establish a report about realized diagnoses.
After that, CEA Cadarache entrusts a feasibility study to AXS INGENIERIE, about classification change of 45T overhead crane.
The objective is to obtain the benefits and weaknesses about this change.
Our engineers will also suggest rehabilitation recommendations of the overhead crane, in order to maintain its reliability as part of the safety assessment.
