NORD CEREALES launches the assessment of fatigue integrity about 2 bulk cranes
NORD CEREALES trusts to AXS INGENIERIE the assessment of fatigue integrity study about 2 bulk cranes, STOLZ and CAILLARD, located to the grain handling terminal near Dunkirk.
Old of more than 20 years, the bulk cranes will be investigated to assess the structural fatigue integrity, following the applicable recommendations for port cranes, by the CETMEF (ex-National Study Center of Maritime Transport).
During this study, AXS INGENIERIE will use the historical data, design drawings & calculation sheets of cranes.
Assessment of integrity goals of cranes
At the end, AXS INGENIERIE will submit to NORD CEREALES the results of the integrity assessment:
- General and detailed remaining duty lifetime
- NDT program
- Recommendations of rehabilitation for future exploitation of bulk cranes
