Study for the rehabilitation of 2 runways overhead crane at the Brest Naval Base
The Brest ESID is planning to renovate buildings 19 and 20 of the Brest Naval Base for the Navy services. Thus, a study is being carried out for the rehabilitation of the runways of the 4 overhead travelling cranes in the area.
AXS INGENIRIE is co-contracting with ABAK INGENIERIE in Nantes to carry out this contract.
Our group started by reconstructing technical data on buildings, runways and overhead cranes.
For AXS INGENIERIE, a crane jacking operation was necessary, as well as measurements and readings on the cranes (dimensions, speeds, accelerations, etc.).
Study of new runways
Subsequently, AXS INGENIERIE will send ESID de BREST a final report consisting of the following elements :
- Calculation notes
- Maps
- Definition file
- File supporting definitions
- Requirements specification for the works contract carried out following our study
This study is carried out according to FEM rules, the Eurocodes and the regulations in force.
Finally, we would like to thank the Brest Naval Base for trusting us since 2015.
